The Village of Phelps Clerk's Office and all Departments will be closed Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. The Transfer Station will be operating its normal hours Wednesday, 11/22 noon to 7 pm and Saturday, 11/25 8 am to 4:30 pm. 

Village News Attention Village of Phelps Residents - Fall Leaf Cleanup Monday, October 23 thru Wednesday, November 22 ·       Pile bags in an OPEN AREA between the sidewalk and street, where we can get the loader. ·       DO NOT pile bags around trees, utility poles, fire hydrants, mailboxes, etc. ·       Bags should be placed in piles.  Only bagged leaves will be accepted. ·       We will not pick up brush or complete tree removals.   Also, remember that leaves and brush will be accepted at the Transfer Station, free of charge, on Wednesdays from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Bagged leaves taken to the Transfer Station must be opened and dumped.    The Village Office and all Departments will be closed Friday, November 10th, Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th. 

The Village Board of Trustees will be conducting their regular monthly meeting, Monday, December 11th at 5:00 pm - 8 Banta Street.

Phelps, New York: Community members will have an incredible opportunity to be active on the new basketball/pickle ball court located at the Phelps Community Center, thanks to a $25,000 grant awarded by the Ralph C. Wilson Legacy Fund for Youth Sports and administered by the Rochester Area Community Foundation, in collaboration with the Phelps Community Center.  The Village of Phelps is very thankful for the matching grant we received from the Mary Hicks Preston Foundation. Located at 8 Banta Street in Phelps, the court is on the east side of the Phelps Community Center building near the playground and outdoor fitness center. Parking is free, and the court hours are dawn to dusk.  A ribbon cutting event will be held Sunday, April 30th at 2:15 pm followed by basketball skills & drills instruction for youth.
