Winter Driving Tips 

• Reduce your speed to counteract traction lost due to the slick road surface
• Increase your following distance, compared to when you drive in clear, dry conditions
• Be smooth when accelerating, turning, and braking
• Be prepared by having a fully-stocked emergency kit aboard
• Keep your fuel tank at least half full
• Ensure your tires have plenty of tread and are properly inflated
